Poly(L-Arginine)

Poly-L-arginine hydrochloride is a positively charged synthetic polyamino acid having one HCl per arginine unit. It is a crystalline solid soluble in water. Applications for poly-L-arginine hydrochloride include:
layer-by-layer deposition techniques and the complexation with nucleic acids for gene expression.
Generation of complex with stimulatory RNA isRNA9.2 as in neutrophils.
Ribosomal RNA transfection into human monocytic THP-1 cells.
Coating alginate capsule beads.
