Polyester-PEGs

  •  Amphiphilic block copolymers (ABC) composed of hydrophobic and hydrophilic blocks that can self assemble into core-shell micelles in aqueous solution.  Micelles have a unique core/shell structure which make them extensively used in drug delivery. Hydrophobic drugs can be encapsulated in the core, while the hydrophilic shell can be modified by specific ligands, monoclonal antibodies, or aptamers for bio-recognition.
  • Polyester-block-PEGs are a family of AMCs, which demonstrated excellent good biodegradability, biocompatibility and  low immunogenicity, and have been extensively used for drug delivery.
  • Nanosoft Polymers offers functional polyester based ABC copolymers such asPLA-PEG, PLGA-PEG, PCL-PEG for drug delivery research.
