Multi-arm polyesters

Multi-arm polyesters are star-shaped biodegradable polymers composed of multiple poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) chains radiating from a multifunctional core. Compared with linear PLGA polymers, multi-arm PLGAs provide higher functional group density, improved drug loading capacity, tunable degradation behavior, and enhanced control over polymer architecture.

Nanosoft Polymers offers a broad range of multi-arm PLGA polymers and functionalized multi-arm PLGA derivatives for drug delivery, nanoparticle fabrication, hydrogel formation, tissue engineering, and biomaterials research. Available functional groups include amine (NH₂), carboxyl (COOH), maleimide (Mal), NHS ester, acrylate, azide (N₃), alkyne, and other custom functionalities.
