8-arm poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (8-arm PLGA-OH, 8-arm PLGA hydroxyl terminated) is a multiarm PLGA derivative with OH groups at each terminal of the eight arms connected to one trehalose core. Degradable PLGA can be used for conjugation, grafting and functionalization for drug delivery applications. Otherwise noted, multiarm PLGA is composed of d,l-lactide and glycolide (50:50 ratio).
