Poly(L-lactide)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-succinic ester (PLLA-PEG-NHS) is a biodegradable amphiphilic copolymer with amine-reactive ester group at the PEG end. PLLA-PEG-NHS is used to prepare polymeric micelle where its PEG shell which can be modified by targeting moieties, and hydrophobic drugs like paclitaxel can be packaged in its PLA core.
