Description
General Description
PDLLA-PEG-NH₂ is an amphiphilic diblock copolymer widely used in drug delivery, nanoparticle fabrication, and biomaterials research. In aqueous environments, the copolymer can self-assemble into polymeric micelles and nanoparticles with a hydrophobic PDLLA core and a hydrophilic PEG corona.
The terminal amine group enables further functionalization through reactions with activated esters, carboxylic acids, aldehydes, isocyanates, and other amine-reactive molecules. PDLLA-PEG-NH₂ is commonly employed for targeted drug delivery, nanomedicine development, imaging applications, and surface modification.
