Description
General Description
PLLA-PEG-Alkyne is a tin-free biodegradable block copolymer designed for advanced drug delivery and nanomedicine applications. The amphiphilic structure allows spontaneous self-assembly into polymeric micelles and nanoparticles with a hydrophobic PLLA core and a hydrophilic PEG shell.
The terminal alkyne group enables efficient conjugation through copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and related click chemistry reactions. This functionality allows attachment of peptides, proteins, antibodies, fluorophores, targeting ligands, and other biomolecules to create functional nanocarriers and biomaterials.
